Who and what is Soronko London?


Soronko London is an online gift box marketplace that seeks out luxury, eco-conscious, independent brands from multi-ethnic founders. With the birth of #blackpoundday we are also passionate about celebrating brands from the African Diaspora and beyond! We believe we're all better together, so created Soronko to increase awareness of mostly undiscovered, independent brands who align with our vision and values. So why not join us in discovering small businesses together, all in one gift box!




How is Soronko London different?


We take pride in both our Ghanaian and English heritage, ensuring our gift box reflects products curated by a diverse array of founders, no matter their heritage. We always seek to source products from independent businesses that use natural ingredients and follow sustainable practices where possible.




Are all products from Black-owned businesses?


We are extremely passionate about celebrating and supporting Black-owned businesses, like ourselves! Though we intentionally seek out Black Owned brands, we are also passionate about alliance. Soronko therefore partners with brands with multi-ethnic founders who also share this vision. From Black, to Hispanic, English to Asian & more - you can expect to see products from an array of founders from around the world!




Do you only sell online?


Currently, yes. Post-covid, we will endeavour to sell at marketplaces and events.




What eco-conscious steps are you taking with your brand?


At Soronko, we aim to be as eco-conscious as possible where we can. Our packaging boxes, shredded paper and outer wrapping are made from recyclable Kraft which you can reuse and/or recycle after use! Our branded logo is stamped using a rubber stamp made from 100% reclaimed wood (a mixture of oak, ask and pine); using 100% plant based ink which is vegan friendly! Our stickers are either biodegradable and/or recyclable. Our thank you card, information card and business card are also recyclable.




What should I do if my order hasn't arrived by the expected date?


Occasionally an order may take longer than usual due to circumstances out of our/ the couriers control. There may be some delays due to Covid-19. If you have any problems with your order at all, just contact us at soronkobox@gmail.com and we will be happy to help you.




I have received a faulty/damaged item. What should I do?


These situations are rare, but if this happens, please let us know within 14 days from the date you receive the item, via email to soronkobox@gmail.com including a photo and description of the fault. This will help us to quickly resolve the issue and we'll arrange a return for a replacement for you.




Why is there a longer processing time for my order?


Most of the businesses we partner with use natural, eco friendly ingredients where possible. To ensure freshness of your product(s), they are made from scratch! Meaning slightly longer lead times. It'll be worth the wait, we promise!
